Rebenson goes to Kyushu

In honor of this year's joyous Respect-for-the-Aged Day three-day weekend, I decided to forget the zero Japanese seniors that I know and head to Kyushu, the southernmost of Japan's four main islands. On Saturday morning, I boarded the shinkansen for Beppu, and subsequently visited Amagase, Kumamoto, and Aso. The four posts that follow contain pictures of each location, respectively. Being the now compulsive blogger that I am (I never thought that word would escape my lips), I have attached a map of my journey, below.

Comrade, your critique is petit-bourgeois. Besides, my Mac doesn't have a decent editing program, and when I used Paint at work, I discovered that adding text creates a white text box. I spent many a minute laboring over a hot mouse, concocting the letters that embody the Spirit of labor.
